| Introduction | Cecilia Kozlowski is the principal hornist of the Shen Yun Performing Arts Orchestra based in New York. She graduated with her Masters Degree from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music in 2010, and recieved her Bachelors Degree in horn performance from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ms. Kozlowski is thankful for the wonderful education she has recieved from her primary teachers: Mr. Randy Gardner (2nd horn, Philidelphia Orchestra, retired; professor of horn at CCM), Mr. Duane Dugger (3rd horn, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra; adjunct professor of horn at CCM), Dr. Lin Foulk (Professor of Horn at Western Michigan University), and Mr. Walt Lewis (private horn teacher, 2nd horn Lake St. Clair Symphony Orchestra,2nd horn Grosse Pointe Symphony Orchestra). Cecilia enjoys cooking and living a vegetarian lifestyle, eating frosting straight from the can, and reading books. She has a brother who currently serves his country as a Marine, two cats (Isla and Gracie), and a wonderful relationship with her loving and supportive parents. |
