| Introduction | National Write Your Congressman was founded in 1958 as a non-partisan organization to provide an education and response system to encourage responsible Americans to communicate with Congress as our Founding Fathers intended. Our Founding Fathers sincerely believed that the will of the people should determine the policies and direction of our government. NWYC is dedicated to their "We the people..." vision by providing members in all fifty states with timely information that presents both sides of legislative issues. Our members are educated and encouraged to take action on pending legislation that is important to them, their family and community.
