| Introduction | I am a retired educator who loves to travel. I live in a college town that is a lively environment during the semesters with 25,000 students, but my favorite time is between semesters, when we revert to a small town. I have vacation homes in Whittier, North Carolina and near Birmingham on Lake Logan Martin. I spend a lot of time traveling between them with my dog. Rascal is a 13 year old wire-haired fox terrier who runs my life. He has gotten more temperamental as he has aged. I have 2 grandchildren, Logan age 9 and Ella age 6. They live near my home near Birmingham, so that is another reason I travel there often. They are the loves of my life. I would like to live in the same city they do as I would like to be involved on their day to day activities. Currently, my cousin, Barbara is living and traveling with me. She has sold her home in Daphne and is looking for a place closer to the rest of our family. |
