Because, for more than a hundred years now, the peace and stability of the world has been (as far as that is humanly possible) asserted and maintained by the United States. If the United States goes down, or changes so radically that it becomes a different country altogether - then we are all going to be in terrible trouble. I am concerned about the world. |
