Introduction I am a former Earth Science teacher. Now living in Maine with his wife and two daughters. I have a passion for all places snowy and have worked with the Juneau Icefield Research Program through the University of Idaho, the University of New Hampshire's Climate Change Research Center, and the Institute for Quaternary and Climate Studies at the University of Maine. During the 2000-2001 field season I was in Antarctica as a member of the US International Trans-Antarctic Scientific Expedition team. During the IPY (2007-2008) I was back in Antarctica as a member of the WAIS Divide ice coring program team. In 2010 and 2012 I also directed programs in the Ecuadorian Rain Forest. I also have an affinity for all places wild and have worked in deserts, rain forests, and alpine areas. In my regular day job I provide experiential programs for all audiences in many "must see" compelling outdoor locations to help them understand the complete Earth system. At the same time I am working on developing an earth system science curriculum based on environmental change and social justice.
