| Introduction | I have been married for 41 years. My husband is retired, disabled. We were born and raised in Southern California, living in the beach area until we were 32 and then moving our young family to the small town of Beaumont. Both of our sons married girls from that area. They each have 2 children. Three years ago, WE moved to a very small rural town in central western Utah. It is mostly dairies. Our first home was an old farm house on 5 acres. We had our own well, and coal heat. Eleven months ago, we moved to a 1920 cottage home We needed to have a single level home in town. We are currently having our old house redone so that we can move back in the near future. We have 3 dogs, one a 74 pound puppy, and about 13 chickens. One of sons lives about 2 hours north . Our oldest son lives in California on the central California coast. Since we have lived here, we have had temperatures as high as 107 degrees and as low as -24 degrees. |
