Introduction	You are not only what you eat, you are also what you do. I've worked as a City and Regional Planner (City Builder) for nearly forty years and it shapes the way I view the world. My profession engages me in all aspects of the operations of a local government (City, County or Special Service District) from the top policy level to the point where the “rubber meets the road”. Managing complex municipal projects requires me to build “teams” of professionals (public safety professionals, engineers, accountants, auditors, attorneys and some of the top professional governmental managers in the business) and focus this talent on getting a job done within a budget and on-time. My success in this endeavor has kept me in business for over 22-years here in Mariposa County. I am a serious person by nature but try to maintain healthy perspective about life, the world around me and (in particular) myself. My life style, by some standards, may seem a little reckless (Bonneville speed racing, sport parachuting, etc.) but I’ve slowed down a lot. These days I’m pretty happy riding my Harley and Corvette around the Mariposa country side. Life is good; a little hectic, but good.
