| Introduction | PHF B.D.R. Rajan popularly known as Suri joined the Rotary Club of Kandy in 1994. He had his primary and secondary education at the Trinity College Kandy & Asoka Vidyalaya.During his school days he played volleyball, football & Hockey. He was also a National Weight Lifting Champion. Suri has served at District Level at various capacities. Suri is a Level 4 Major Donor of the Rotary Foundation and a Founder Life Member of the Rotary Center Sri Lanka.He has attended every single RI Convention since 2005 in Chicago and he is a life member of the Rotary International Convention Goers.He was instrumental in the formation of RC Gampola & Dickoya . Suri has introduced 30 Rotarians . He was awarded as Effective President in 2002/03,Exceptional Rotarian of the Year twice in 2003/04,2007/08. He is also a receipient of the Rotary International Four Avenues of Service Citation.By Profession he is Chairman of the family owned enterprise Sun & Asoka Group of Companies. He is married to Zipporah and they are blessed with a daughter Sashi who is married and a son Prasad who is reading for CIMA |
