| Introduction | Born in Moriah in the Adirondacks of New York state, attended schools in Corinth, Hadley, and Saratoga Springs. Graduate of New York State Teacher's College (SUNY Albany). Journalist on dailies: Adirondack Enterprise and Albany Times Union;monthly Albany Liberator. Public relations and feature writer for NY state I LOVE NEW YORK campaign; an editor on a statewide Governmental magazine; served 25 years as Town Historian of Niskayuna, New York. Volunteer for many environmental and health efforts. Edited, designed and oversaw production of book "Wilderness and People, The Future of the Adirondack Park" with pencil illustrations of birds and animals by family friend David Utterback, for the Association for the Protection of the Adirondacks. Consultant in TBI programs. |
