| Introduction | I work full time as an English as a Second Language teacher. I am passionate about the power of the written word and love helping students to master both advanced reading and writing skills for academic purposes. As the mother of two young children I am also interested in how they are learning to read and write. What I can do to help them on this journey is something I struggle with, as Primary education is an area of ignorance for me. My children are blessed with great teachers, from whom I am learning much about the role of the family in developing children's literacy. |

Purple with diamontes of course! Never had that dream, but probably because I am too busy either flying or walking around as if I am dressed, shamelessly refusing to be embarrased. My best mates, as I am forever forgetting her number or remembering her old one. Sparkly gold stilettos with gold fish,very tiny ones, swimming inside the translucent heels...
