| Introduction | Theatre Hetaerae is named after the Greek courtesans who were highly skilled theatrical performers, coveted lovers, and the only women allowed to vote and participate in political life. We seek to create theatrical events that are seductive, entertaining, and socially relevant, paying careful attention to the way women feature in the stories we tell and their role in the telling of them. |
