Introduction	I'm Marie, GenMed Lab Mom. My biggest claim to fame is my son, Peter. He has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He's 30 years old. He is a poet and a leader whose spirituality comes out as pure presence. I work in the Research Center for Genetic Medicine at Washington DC with about 60 Investigators and 125 postdocs, techs and staff scientists. Our largest group of researchers investigate muscular dystrophies. This blog is about my family and my work.
