Introduction	One wintry day, a big-eyed, curly haired girl was born in a small town in New Mexico - a place filled with the scent of piñon trees, the sound of archaic Spanish and the taste of tortillas and chile. After a lively but perhaps wasted youth, this girl (now, not so much a girl, but more a thirty-something chick) found herself in California living the edgy life of an engineer, raising the most beautiful girl the world has ever seen and trying to escape the fanaticism of her two spoiled mutts. In her spare time, she releases her trapped native spirit by running wildly and joyously through the woods or diminishes her already anemic eyesight by wasting time writing in this blog.
