| Introduction | Nick Millevoi is a Philadelphia-based guitarist and composer. As a solo performer, Nick performs compositions for 6- and 12-string electric guitar. In 2011, New Atlantis Records released his debut solo recording, Black Figure of a Bird, and Nick has toured the US several times in support, sharing bills with such artists as Mick Barr, Zevious, Nat Baldwin, Eugene Chadbourne, Not the Wind Not the Flag, Colin Fisher, Hyrrokkin, Keir Neuringer, and many others. Nick is also co-leader of the avant-garde punk-jazz trio Many Arms, with whom he's recorded three full-length albums and an EP and toured extensively. In 2012, Tzadik will release Many Arms' self-titled third release. Nick makes up one half of the experimental chamber duo Archer Spade, who are currently working on commissions with with Roscoe Mitchell, Gene Coleman, Dave Soldier, Johnny DeBlase and other great composers. Nick is a member of Hassidic-punk band Electric Simcha. As an improvisor or sideman, Nick has worked with Fugazi bassist Joe Lally, Dan Blacksberg, Alban Bailly, Joe Moffett, Ed Ricart, Toshimaru Nakamura, Thomas Buckner, Ken Ueno, Matt Ingalls, and many others.
