Introduction	I'm currently a student at Greenville College. I'll be graduating in the spring with a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Social Work, which will help me reach my goal of amassing a great fortune by my mid-thirties... I'm in the midst of writing my honors thesis on the topic of improving literacy in at-risk youth through the efforts of public libraries. My aspirations include becoming a children's librarian and a freelance writer. Most of all, though, I want to be a Mama someday. I work at a great non-profit, The Simple Room, which is a community center for at-risk youth. We deal a lot with the cyclical effects of rural poverty. My experiences there continually devastate me, challenge me, and inspire me. We serve such precious, precious children. I'm not sure what post-graduation life will look like for me. I am mostly okay with that (it depends on the day). But I am excited because I have dreams and passions, and I have a love that I'm (hoping) will last a lifetime.
