| Introduction | A longtime resident of the St. Louis, Missouri, area, veteran operations management professional Jay Flieg graduated from Bishop DuBourg High School and received a bachelor of science in business administration from Lindenwood University. He remains involved in the community by volunteering with the nonprofit home restoration organization Rebuilding Together-St. Louis. As a house captain, Jay Flieg donates his time to work on free repair and renovation projects that help local residents in need maintain a safe and healthy home. In his professional career, Jay Flieg previously oversaw 180 staff members as a franchisee and president of six Dairy Queen locations across St. Louis. During more than 15 years as a Dairy Queen operator, he handled a variety of responsibilities, including budgeting, expense control, and product pricing, sales, and distribution. He also secured contracts with suppliers and facilitated agreements with federal and state government bureaus. Responsible for meeting performance goals, Mr. Flieg directed all departments according to budgetary guidelines and analyzed financial and sales data to evaluate productivity. |
