| Introduction | Cheryl's mission in life is to help people who are curious about the Bible take the next steps and actually make friends with it. In 2008 she created a course called "Make Friends with Your Bible", a lay person's introduction to the history of the Bible, the manuscript evidence for its authenticity and an overview of its contents. In 2011, she led two weekly classes based on the One Year Bible in which she helped unravel some of the difficult passages of Scripture, and showed how the great themes of the Bible flow from Genesis to Revelation. She also wrote a 365-day reading guide to the One Year Bible that can be used as an aid to reading through the entire Bible in a year. Cheryl has served as an Elder at Community Presbyterian Church, an Evangelical Presybyterian Church in Danville, California, where she has developed and taught Bible studies to adults and mentored women toward spiritual maturity. She married her husband Bern in 1974 and they have four married children and four beautiful grandchildren. Cheryl is available as a conference speaker, retreat leader, and Bible teacher.
