| Introduction | My husband and I married in October 2010 and began trying to conceive in May 2011. We had an early loss in December of that year at 4 weeks 2 days. After another year of struggling to get pregnant, our prayers were answered in November of 2012 when we got pregnant again, only to have our dreams shattered when our Kayla Kathryn was born sleeping at 22 weeks 2 days on March 24, 2013. After much soul searching, tears, and a little blind faith, we began trying again in May 2013 and our beautiful rainbow Emily Kathryn was born March 19th 2014. She is the light of our lives and we are madly in love with her, but our two angel babies will be forever in our hearts. Sadly 2018 is where our story ended, and our divorce was final in early 2019, but we will always be mommy and daddy to our two beautiful girls and our angel baby. This blog is just my inner ramblings about our journey and struggles with infertility, loss, my biggest heartbreak, my greatest joys and the day to day life of a work-from-home, single mom in between. |
