About me

GenderFemale
OccupationRN/Aspiring Author
LocationTaylorsville, Utah, United States
IntroductionMy active imagination began at the age of four when I insisted that fairies lived in stars. The reputation has stayed with me since kindergarten. Despite the encouragement of my English teachers I pursued another passion and graduated from Weber State University with a degree in nursing. I work part time in the Recovery Room at Avenues Surgical Center and now The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Murray, UT. I spend a lot of time writing, via laptop, while I care for my two small children, Ben who is five and Rylee now eighteen months.
InterestsI love to write. I just completed my first novel and am in the process of finding a publisher. I also love hiking, and camping. I enjoy painting and decorating as well. Also I play the piano, a little.
Favorite movies"Lonesome Dove", "A River Runs Through It", "It's a Wonderful Life"
Favorite musicHmmm...I like to peruse various genres when it comes to music.
Favorite booksI read so many books it's impossible to single out favorites. I like many books for different reasons."Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians" is hilarious. I think it's fresh and fun. I'm also a big fan of classics, particularly Charles Dickens and Jane Austin.

Your superpower is that you smell like dandelions whenever someone lies. How will you maintain your secret identity?

Very few people know that dandelion root is a registered drug in Canada. It is used principally as a diuretic. My disguise? I have high blood pressure and was apprehensive about the side effects of conventional medications. I therefore visit Canada once a year to stock up on dandelion root. It effectively lowers my blood pressure with only one minor side effect, the smell.
