| Introduction | My active imagination began at the age of four when I insisted that fairies lived in stars. The reputation has stayed with me since kindergarten. Despite the encouragement of my English teachers I pursued another passion and graduated from Weber State University with a degree in nursing. I work part time in the Recovery Room at Avenues Surgical Center and now The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Murray, UT. I spend a lot of time writing, via laptop, while I care for my two small children, Ben who is five and Rylee now eighteen months. |
| Interests | I love to write. I just completed my first novel and am in the process of finding a publisher. I also love hiking, and camping. I enjoy painting and decorating as well. Also I play the piano, a little. |
| Favorite movies | "Lonesome Dove", "A River Runs Through It", "It's a Wonderful Life" |
| Favorite music | Hmmm...I like to peruse various genres when it comes to music. |
| Favorite books | I read so many books it's impossible to single out favorites. I like many books for different reasons."Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians" is hilarious. I think it's fresh and fun. I'm also a big fan of classics, particularly Charles Dickens and Jane Austin. |
Your superpower is that you smell like dandelions whenever someone lies. How will you maintain your secret identity?
Very few people know that dandelion root is a registered drug in Canada. It is used principally as a diuretic. My disguise? I have high blood pressure and was apprehensive about the side effects of conventional medications. I therefore visit Canada once a year to stock up on dandelion root. It effectively lowers my blood pressure with only one minor side effect, the smell.
