| Introduction | Hello, I am Douglas E. Helvie. I am a 20 year retired Navy corpsman and 100% disabled veteran. I like guns and I am very Pro-Second Amendment. In late 2019/early 2020, I worked successfully by myself to get Craven County recognized as a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary.
