| Introduction | I am currently a Women's Studies graduate student working on my thesis and a writer of male same-sex couples in fiction (ie: slash, yaoi). As part of my thesis process I am becoming more open about my writing of male same-sex couples. If I am going to say that this is serious fiction that deserves attention, then I need to believe that and act accordingly. I encourage other women writers of male same-sex couples to come out of the closet in their real lives too. |
