| Introduction | I'm married to my best friend who always makes me laugh! We have been blessed with a beautiful daughter, Chloe. Chloe has already had a rough start to her young life, with a severe seizure disorder that has caused significant physical and mental developmental delay. She is a constant joy and inspiration to everyone she meets. We live in Syracuse, Utah, my hometown. I have only recently transitioned into being a stay-at-home mom (Master's Degree, Shmaster's Degree). I am incredibly blessed to have a relationship with my Savior, an amazing family, awesome friends. I am grateful to have this blog as a resource to share the simple yet profound lessons my daughter teaches me. I thought a mother was supposed to teach her children, especially mentally delayed children. But that is not the case. She is the master teacher and I am the humble student, in constant awe of her. I hope others can learn from Chloe and other special children like her, and share their stories of inspiration as well! |
