Introduction	My name is Becky Sandusky, I'm from St. James, MO, and have lived here my entire life. I work at Lucy Wortham James Elementary School and teach 5th Grade Communication Arts. Everyday is different and the kids really make it worth while waking up every morning. My main hobby is..wait for it..reading! Not a big surprise considering the degree we're all working on. I enjoy just about every kind of book there is out there. However, my favorite genre has to be YA. (Sorry, I'm sure that leaves some of you cringing). I also enjoy being with my family (especially my 2 1/2 year old niece), going to the river, and sitting around with my 3 children....who are all dogs. My husband, Ryan, and I have been together for almost 11 years (only married for 2), and are trying to start a family of our own right now. What interests me about school librarianship? First of all, THE BOOKS! Among my friends and acquaintances, I'm know as the person to go to for a good book recommendation. Second, the organization of a library. Everything has its place! Unlike so many other things in life that are a complete mess. Lastly, for the benefit of myself and my future family.
