Introduction Pete has more than 30 years of professional experience in the IT field. His involvement with computers started in 1981 when he started hacking his Apple computer while in elementary school. He taught himself assembly language then so he could create custom ROM routines and defeat the BIOS. He wrote his own custom DBMS (database management system) while still a freshman in high school which included a low level high-performance database engine and a record management system with indexed retrieval with advanced searching and sorting capabilities. He began writing computer games while in high school. He has been fascinated with computers since an early age. Pete has conducted penetration tests, security assessments, and risk assessments at many large companies including two of the largest banks in the world. He has prototyped new cyber attacks and products at AT&T Labs - Research and has authored research papers on Mobile Security. Pete's hobbies include preparing food, biking, skateboarding, cruising on his motorcycle, going to the beach, surfing waves, listening to live music, herbs, nutrition, Chinese Medicine, health, philosophy, and living a spiritual life.
Interests Pete has studied martial arts for more than 30 years both as a student and as a teacher. He is primarily interested in higher level martial arts. He is fascinated with healing and medicine and spent many years of his life studying the teachings of many religions and the philosophers of the ages. Pete's passion is spiritual healing.
