Introduction	Hi there, my name is Vernon Young. I graduated form Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor, Washington. I then spent some time in the Coast Guard and then worked as a mechanic for the air lines. My wife Betty and I have two grown children and two grandchildren. I like to fly fish, and have advocated for the mentally ill, open spaces, more parks and founded EnviroCorps to help maintain public accessible lands.
