| Introduction | Est. '83. As some dear to my heart musician once put it, I guess I am just like everybody else. Lost in tumbling thoughts that keep my head spinning and that I'd like to voice in here. To reflect, to muse; heck, even to practice my English. So please don't shoot the not at all native speaker for messing up the grammar, typos and alike. I'd appreciate comments and constructive criticism though. |
| Interests | I am a history buff. There you go, I said it and put that stamp right on my forehead, proudly displaying it. Tell my about what the world used to be like and I will listen to it for endless hours, wondering what life used to be back then. That's probably why I love traveling so much, to broaden my horizon on what is now and what used to be in certain places around the globe. How cultures developed, how it shaped each and everyone of us. Invite me to the most beautiful beach vacation and I guarantee you I'll be off exploring the countryside and cities as soon as I get the chance to. |
| Favorite movies | A good film has to have that certain something that touches my soul and makes me shed tears for the beauty or sadness or whatever displayed in it. Sounds cheesy, I know. Nevertheless I guess I gotta go with Big Fish, Almost Famous, Fried Green Tomatoes and It's a Wonderful Life. Ödipussi and Pappa Ante Portas! And to satisfy my childhood nostalgia I must add classics like Ghostbusters and Back to the Future. 2015, hurry up, I am in desperate need of that hoverboard of mine. |
| Favorite music | A lot of singer/songwriter stuff lately. Frank Turner, Chuck Ragan, Rob Lynch, Ducking Punches etc. Anything Indie, Alternative... Guitar Rock. Classic Rock. Folk Punk. Punkrock. Hardrock. Rock Rock. Cause I still believe in the need for guitars and drums and desperate poetry. German stuff, like Beatsteaks, Donots, Thees Uhlmann, Kettcar, Casper etc. etc.. Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones. I freaking love Tiny Dancer by Elton John and Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright. Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters live... good times. And since I can not omit my teenage punkrock/grunge years also The Ramones and Nirvana. |
| Favorite books | Too many to name, but if you're well read and consult Master Hare you might figure one of my favourites out |
