| Introduction | Morningstar was an open commune (also known as Morning Star Ranch and The Digger Farm) was an active open land counterculture commune in (Occidental) Sebastopol near San Francisco. Morningstar was part of the historical changing society of young adults in the 1960s that traveled back and forth between the Haight-Ashbury and Sebastopol. Then governor of California Ronald Reagan vowed to remove the Commune from the face of the earth. |
