| Introduction | Amanda Leduc was born in Canada and lived for a time in Edinburgh, where she had a distressing habit of attracting dodgy old men on the train. She likes: chocolate, strawberries, beaches, books, tea, yoga, procrastinating, has an abnormal fear of stairs, and couldn't whistle or spit if her life depended on it. She has a soft spot for dogs and good photos, and also good photos of dogs. Mathematics and leaking boots hurt her feelings. She carries a big black notebook everywhere she goes and would like, one day, to win the Booker Prize and learn to bake the perfect chocolate souffle. She is afraid of turtles. |
