About me

Gender Male
Introduction Give me a good book, a double of single-malt Yamazaki sherry cask, and a crisp, quiet evening anytime. What more could one ask for! (Well, maybe a fine cigar, a perfect round of golf, and the full version of a lifetime with my lady - not necessarily in that order.)
Interests Used to be nothing but work and maybe some golf, cigars, scuba, shooting, gourmet dining, traveling, dreams of making that one lucrative deal. Now it's watching my kids and grandkids grow with pride and joy, creative writing, reading (a lot), chess, art and sketching, memorizing poetry which I'd always wanted to do (or perhaps it's just to convince myself that I still have a working memory) - and breathing the fresh, salty ocean spray off some remote coast in southern Japan.
Favorite Music Classics, jazz, rock, blues
Favorite Books I enjoy the classics and the contemporary works of Michael Crichton, Robert Ludlum, Tosca Lee, Kurt Vonnegut, John Grisham, Jeffrey Archer, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Dan Brown, Ted Bell, Phillip Margolin, Daniel Silva, Frederick Forsyth, and many others, with a considerable collection of ebooks amassed via Amazon, Bookbub, and BookShout. I admire the benevolence and spirit of sharing offered by Project Gutenberg, Calibre, Open Library, Open Culture and others.
