| Introduction | Dr Gutta Lakshmana Rao obtained his Ph. D. from the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. Dr Rao completed a four year Advanced Diploma in Western Herbal Medicine at the Australian Institute of Applied Sciences (AIAS), Brisbane, Australia. He is a Senior Fellow in the Alumni Association of Natural Medicine Practitioners in Australia. He is a Qualified Member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society. He worked in Australia, Canada, and the USA for more than four decades. Canberra, Australia is his permanent place of residence.
