| Introduction | I'm spending six months in Cambodia to pilot a Small Scale Enterprise project for VSO (www.vso.org.uk). I'll be working with a group of non-profit organizations that work with disadvantaged women and men to create new sources of income so they can feed their families and lift themselves out of poverty. I'm from Knoxville, Tennessee but also live a considerable amount of time in London, England with my partner Lizzy. Now, for awhile, we'll have residences on three continents! Lizzy will be joining me several times during my stay in Cambodia. My career expertise is in building teams, organizations and companies in for-profit and not-for-profit arenas. My last position was as CEO of the Kairos Foundation for five years. Since October 2005 I've done some consulting work but mostly travel and take some time off. After my stint in Cambodia I'll be diving fully into career pursuits in organizational consulting and executive coaching. I have two enormously wonderful children, Katie 18 and Tyler 21, who are both outstanding scholars at university. And of course there's Hershey, my chocolate lab who has to stay home in Tennessee. |
