| Introduction | Welcome! My name is Morgan Fritz, and I am a senior in high school. My study of speech-language pathology and my beautiful sister, who happens to have Down syndrome, have led me to recognize a problem within society. The word “retarded” is being used derogatorily in everyday conversation.
