| Introduction | I'm a qualified Nursery Nurse, I've spent three and a half years working as a nanny in Italy but for the time being am now working back in Yorkshire. In 2011 I spent 3 months living with a Nepali family and volunteering my skills for various children's projects in and around Kathmandu. One of these projects was a national polio immunisation day organised by Rotary International. When I came back to the UK in March 2011 I began finding out just what being a Rotarian involved. The more I learn the more I feel that not only am I a part of Rotary but Rotary is a part of me. In August 2011 I became a fully signed up member of one of the largest service organisations in the world, Rotary International and am proud and honoured to be able to call myself a Rotarian. |
