| Introduction | Hello, My name is Esmeralda Williams. I am the Elective Instructor for your child's Cooking and Baking Elective class. This Elective is open to both campuses, K-8th. I am so excited to teach your child how to bake, cook and make a few of my favorite recipes. I have a passion for cooking and baking and I feel extremely blessed to have this opportunity to teach and share my knowledge with your kids. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health with an Emphasis in Health Promotion and Education. I enjoy teaching kids all of the healthy alternatives that may be used to make a dish healthier by using different kinds of natural fruits and vegetables in cooking. I teach how to substitute ingredients to make foods healthier, gluten free, or vegan. As well as when an individual has a dietary restriction. I try to incorporate the necessary guidelines needed to meet daily requirements for nutrition. |
