I love rainy days, mountains, trees, libraries, flowers, pretty gardens, words, people, beaches, quilts, drying laundry outside, writing letters, sewing, mysteries, ripe peaches, babies, grapes, olives, cilantro, salmon, Murphy's wood oil soap, vacuuming, funny stories, wood floors, white furniture, apple pie, homemade bread, English authors, England, starry skies, pianos, guitars, tenors (esp. my Dad), the Yankees, nighttime baseball games, cities, Russia, summer nights, the early morning air, eating outside, Mt. Rainier, the smell of sagebrush, feeding my family, cleaning, country ballads (all ballads), reading out loud to my kids at night, singing babies to sleep, airports, newspapers, magazines, Christmas, sledding, stream of consciousness lists, Italy, Norway, philosophy, staying up really late talking, laughing so hard I'm afraid I might choke, book clubs, dates with my husband, being driven at night, and making this list.
