| Introduction | Enlisted 21-12-1981, attended BMT at ITD near Sembawang Shipyard (presently the naval diving unit amongst others). Joined OCS 1/82 IOCC batch. Kept back as OCS instructor (mentor, the very first batch) but opted to convert to join Demolition Team as instructor and later, head. (Demo Team was also part of OCS Weapons Team then). Conversion training was done at Gillman Camp (Combat Engineer School) and became Pioneer Platoon Commander (Pnr). Later served reservist at 96 SIR, 6th Div (Gul Circle, 1990); then 85 SIR, 2 PDF (Maju Camp, Clementi, 1995). Discharged in 2000. |
