About me

GenderFemale
OccupationStay-home wife, mom, and educator, Certified Childbirth Educator
LocationElk, Washington, United States
IntroductionAfter living in Alaska for 16 years, my husband of 20 years and I "sold up shop" and headed to the South on a grand adventure. We lived for a year in the beautiful foothills of The Great Smokies, and gained among other things, a great appreciation for Southern Barbecue. We also learned we are too set in our Northern ways to live long in the South. So, here we find ourselves living in a charming, beautiful community in far Northeast Washington. In a life that seems long ago, I worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician, but now embrace the vocation of staying home to care for and home school our five wonderful and loud sons. I teach natural childbirth classes on the side. Saved by grace through faith I am...and striving to live a life my King will call "Well done."

Lionesses have no manes. How do they know when they've grown up?

They have under their charge a gaggle of mane-clad kin, just like me!
