Introduction	My name is Denise Hawk and I am a mom of 6 beautiful kids. Many times people suggest that my husband and I should write a parenting book. While flattered, I don't know what I would put inside a book that isn't already out there. So I thought I would try blogging instead. Here is my maiden voyage and if you don't learn anything, I hope you at least were entertained (a wee bit). :)

Favorite Books	Parenting Young Athletes the Ripken Way -- should be a mandatory read for all parents with kids who play sports! Night, Gone With the Wind, The Red Tent, any Calvin & Hobbes collection, currently reading The Shack
