Introduction	I started beading in 1986, ocassionally trying other arts, but I always seem to come back to those tiny beads. When I decided to get serious about the craft, I began taking classes from professional bead artists including Charlene Abrams, Diane Fitzgerald, Leslie Frumin, Leslie Frazier, Linda Gettings, Maggie Meister, Tina Koyama, Maria Rypan, Met Inmon, Sue Jackson and Wendy Hubick. To me, by learning new techniques and becoming more polished in the art, there is no substitute for an education from professionals. I teach a weekly class to beaders where I live and they challenge me to come up with new ideas. I am also working on a beading pattern book and look forward to it's publication.
