| Introduction | Corvus is a husband, a father, a martial artist, an executive coach, and a Buddhist priest. In the past, he has been a student, a soldier, and a public relations executive. Through it all, the Beautiful Game has been the constant. Corvus played soccer since high school as a halfback or winger, including two years for a dreadfully bad side in college, and two successful seasons as the player manager of Hilton FC in the Northern Virginia Soccer Leage. At the age of 32 Corvus realized that 19 year old guys really can run faster, so he took up Kendo instead, but continues to watch and write about the Beautiful Game.
