| Introduction | I am still becoming me... So far this is what I CAN tell you. I am a 40 something woman trying to live a spiritual life in a human body. I try to live an intentional life with as many of the choices I make. I choose to support ethical buying and fair trade when possible. It is important to me that my family lives simply and sustainable. I became a stay-at-home mother in 1999. Yes, ME... a "HOUSEWIFE"? But it has been the greatest adventure with some interesting twists and turns. I love to garden, paint, sew, knit and do just about all things creative. In 2006 I started an Arts and Craft business. Thus Green Gourd Creations was born. Over the years Green Gourd has evolved as I have. I am inspired by my surroundings. I like to give old items a new purpose in life. To recycle and reuse.In 2009 we decided as a family to homeschool our daughter. This has been a wonderful adventure. I am not always sure who is learning more, the teacher or the student. The only draw back has been the neglect of my Green Gourd Creations. It has taken some time but with baby steps I am beginning to find a balance of home,health, school and Green Gourd. |
