| Introduction | I am a woman on a journey. I am making my own acquaintance after many years of trying to be many things I am not. I came out of the closet as a lesbian in 1994 and went back in 1998 because I believed the slogan of the ex-gay movement that said, "Change is Possible!" In 2003 I realized that while I had experienced some positive changes, my orientation had not changed. Not only that, but over time I realized the damage that my change efforts had wrought. Want to know more? You've got a couple options: Read my first blog entry about the basics of my journey, read an article featuring my story in Glamour, or check out my bio at Beyond Ex-Gay. |

Well, maybe they don't need them, but don't you think that some fish might like a bicycle?
Sure. But don't tell people you’re a bicycle-loving fish when you're really a swimming-loving fish.
