Introduction	I teach fifth grade Social Studies and Language Arts at Briargrove Elementary School in Houston, Texas. I have been teaching in HISD for 9 years, and teaching grades 1-8 for almost 29 years! I graduated from high school at Walters High School in Walters, Oklahoma, and college at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. I have a love of anything history related, including my family genealogy. I have been trained at the Williamsburg Summer Teacher Institute, and have also been a Peer Facilitator for that same Institute. My most recent trip to Williamsburg was the summer of 2008.
