Introduction	I've lived in Virginia for almost 25 years, and gardened for most of them. I was raised in the Southwest, and my mom and sisters and brothers and nieces and nephews and now grandnephews still live in Arizona. So in a few years, you may be reading a blog about desert gardening. But for now, I live with my husband Salix, my dog Ranunculus, my cat Kit Vicious, and the various deer, turkey, squirrels, rabbits, blue birds, wrens, and other creatures that populate our 10 acres. That's obviously not a picture of me--but my Ranunculus DOES look like Rocket, the dog on the Life Is Good T-shirts (doesn't he?) And even if Ranunculus doesn't share Rocket's pedigree, well, Life is Good.
Interests	Gardening (!), horseracing, movies, poker, golf, crime drama, travelling
Favorite Movies	Citizen Kane. Trite but true. I'll add to the list as I think about it . . .
Favorite Music	The Beatles. Ditto above.

My cat is an evil genius. She doesn't need a safety school.
