Introduction	Project Heroes™ honors the Canadian soldiers who have died in the Afghanistan War through portraits painted from family photos. The project will result in a national exhibition that will include the paintings, interactive multimedia telling the story of each soldier through letters they wrote home, video clips and more. The exhibition will also include scenes of Afghanistan, 3 six by nine foot panoramic paintings depicting the families wait while their soldiers are at war, the wounded, and veterans and serving soldiers and more. This project will take over $1 million to complete and prepare for a national exhibition that will tour Canadian provinces starting in 2013.
