| Introduction | i'm a stay at home mom (to an amazing 8 year old boy) and wife (to a physicist and electrical engineer) who loves fabric (hello, my name is fern{liz}, and i've got a fabric stash that swallows my entire room). i sew and absolutely love it. now that my son is in school all day i'm attempting to make things to sell. i haven't gotten very far with that as i am easily distracted and end up making gifts for my friends and family instead. i love owls. i have a corner in my living room that i affectionately refer to as 'the owlery'. i love all kinds of owls and i've been collecting them since i was young. one of my favourites is a stained glass brown owl that was my grandma's. and i also have the hippest owl lamp that was also hers! he rocks! i also love ferns. a lot. family, friends, food, fabric, nature, and peaceful living. that's me! |
