| Introduction | I'm embarking on an adventure in November '09 - travelling to Chiang Mai Thailand on my own. I won't be on my own for long, because I'll be meeting up with about three thousand others as we work together on the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Mekong Project. For about five days, we'll be working to build 82 homes, in recognition of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 82nd birthday. It promises to be a remarkable experience, one I hope to record on this blog. After the build, I'll be spending another 10 days in Thailand, which will be another kind of adventure. At this point, I've made no plans, in the hope that my week of community building will introduce me to some people who will also be travelling, or at the very least will share their experiences and give me direction.
