Introduction	I write books for young adults and middle graders, and I teach creative writing and YA literature at Colorado State University. My first novel, The Traitor King, (ages 9 and up) was published by Scholastic Press in 2007. And my second novel, The Secret to Lying (ages 14 and up) is coming out with Candlewick Press, June 2010.
