Introduction A Senior Citizen that never dreamed she'd be writing a blog for the world to read concerning her personal life. Small town city girl, married for 48 years til "death do us part". Have the most loving twin daughters who are soon to be Senior Citizens, 6 grandchildren who are the lights of my life, as are their mothers. Love the little Lhasa Apso that came into my life a couple of years ago as a 4 year old. Born in Ohio but California is all I know. Would love to prove someday that I am a Daughter of the American Revolution, because I know I am, and my granddaughters can carry it on.
Interests Family, friends, my doggie, writing, enjoying most all kinds of music, good conversation, certain tv shows, stage plays, concerts, movies, eating out, fun with the Red Hatters, growing flowers and veges...notice I didn't say gardening..I hate weeds and dont have the strength to get rid of them.
Favorite Movies Yankee Doodle Dandy is one of my all time favorites, Oklahoma because it reminds me of my late husband (he played the part of Will Parker in a local stage play), A Lion in Winter (love the dialog), Amadeaus, On Golden Pond, Top Gun, Bridge on the River Kwai, the list is endless
Favorite Music C/W (Merle Haggard, Randy Travis, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, and more), Stage musical scores like Oklahoma, Gypsy, 76 Trombones, Chorus Line etc., 50's Du Wop, Oldies but Goodies, old standards, big band, light classical, drum and bugle corps, marching bands, little bands...I love lots of music.
Favorite Books Not much of a book reader. I like biographies the most and true stores. Really not into fiction.

What makes many people so meek and others so bold?
