| Introduction | In May of 1990 I gave my first born child, a daughter, up for adoption. I was 18 years old at the time with little to no family support. So I stuck my pain, regret, and denial into Pandora's Box and slammed it shut. 17 years, 9 months, and 38 days later my beautiful first born daughter found me on March 23, 2008...which also happened to be Easter Sunday. This blog was created to share my story with my family, friends, other birthmoms, and even adoptive parents. For those of you that chose to read it thank you allowing me to share my journey with you. Writing my story for myself and others has helped to begin to heal the wounds of this birthmom's heart. Love to all... |
